Safety Precautions
Before Use
- Read the instruction manual carefully before using the product.
- Check that the voltage required for the product matches the mains voltage.
- Completely unwind the power cord before plugging into the mains.
During Use
- The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible adult.
- When the product is placed on the stand, ensure the stand is resting on a stable surface.
- Take care when emptying the water tank as there may be hot water inside and the ceramic heat plate may still be hot, which can cause burns.
- Do not add chemical additives, aromas, or descaling agents to the water tank unless specified in the manual.
- The steam emitted from the product is very hot. Do not direct steam towards the body, other people, or animals.
- Do not leave the product unattended while plugged in or while still hot.
- Do not allow children to operate or treat the product as a toy. Supervision is necessary when used around children.
- Do not place the product in a location accessible to children when the temperature has not cooled down.
- Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Do not touch the product with wet hands.
- Do not rest the product on the stand with the steam mode on.
Power Cord Safety
- Do not pull on the power cord to disconnect from the socket. Grasp the plug and pull out of the socket when the socket is turned off.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the supplier, service department, or similar.
After Use
- When finished using the steamer iron, turn the steam off, place it on the stand and unplug from the mains.
- Ensure there is no steam coming from the steamer iron before unplugging.
- The product must be unplugged before filling or emptying the water tank.
- The product must be unplugged and completely cooled down before putting away for storage when not in use.
- Place the product on the stand for storage.
Prohibited Actions
- Do not use the product if there is visible damage or leakage.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact the supplier for evaluation. Incorrect assembly or repair could cause risk of electric shock or other injury.
Electrical Safety
- To avoid overloading the circuit, do not use other high-powered electrical appliances at the same time. If using a power extension cord, use one with a current of 10A and above. If the cord core is too small, it may overheat and cause danger.
- The product must be unplugged during cleaning.
Warning The heat plate generates heat at a constant temperature of approximately 160°C, to avoid damage to fabrics that do not tolerate high temperatures, place a clean towel between the garment and the heat plate before using the steamer iron.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular Cleaning
- Wipe the product with a soft cloth. Avoid wiping with abrasive materials such as metal scourers.
- A neutral detergent can be used with a soft, damp cloth to remove more persistent staining.
- The product must be unplugged during cleaning.
Descaling (Monthly Maintenance) It is recommended to descale the product on a monthly basis, please refer to the manual for instructions.
Storage
- The product must be unplugged and completely cooled down before storage.
- When finished using the steamer iron, leave it on the stand to completely cool down. Once cooled, pour out any excess water into a sink.
- Wipe any residual water droplets from the product with a soft, dry towel.
- Place the product in room temperature to dry.
- Store in a dry environment.
