About Us
OHM began with a simple frustration, one we’re sure many of you have felt. Whilst navigating the demands of busy households, we realised we were constantly being forced to choose: either paying premium for quality and design, or settling for affordable pieces that simply didn’t last.
It was a recurring observation we couldn’t ignore, we kept thinking about all the daily routines that anchor our lives and how these small moments deserve tools that actually work well, feel good to use without the inflated price tag.
We decided to do something about it. Between full-time careers and the non-stop demands of family life, we started OHM to bridge that gap, to create household electricals that didn't force you to choose between performance and value. Because no one should have to compromise.

What’s in a Name?
Our name, OHM is deeply personal. While it is derived from our surnames, the connection to the scientific unit of electrical resistance was intentional. The ohm measures resistance, and that's exactly what we want our brand to stand for: resistance to compromise, resistance to the idea that quality has to be expensive, resistance to settling for less than you deserve.
